PAUL CAVEL
has taught the Water Method, including medical qigong, tai chi, bagua, and Taoist neigong, breathing and meditation since 1995. He is the principal of The Tai Chi Space (TTCS), a London-based school he established to share the millennia-old teachings of Old Taoism. In addition to teaching in London, Paul offers a complete Taoist arts curriculum via online courses and annual retreats in Yucaipa, California.
In 2004, Paul became a senior instructor of Taoist Lineage Holder Bruce Frantzis, and he is empowered by Master Frantzis to certify teachers in his Energy Arts System.
Paul is the author of two books — The Tai Chi Space: How to Move in Tai Chi and Qi Gong and Heaven & Earth Qigong: Heal Your Body and Awaken Your Qi — the latter of which he co-authored with his teacher.

Having been Paul Cavel’s student for two decades, I appreciate his clear and precise style of teaching combined with a playfulness which makes learning a pleasurable experience. Paul uses metaphors out of our everyday experience to shorten the process of transmitting information, enhance our learning and awaken our bodily intelligence. This way of teaching requires a very deep level of understanding of the material and, indeed, of human nature itself. Paul obviously has both.”

Taoist Lineage Holders Liu Hung Chieh & Bruce Frantzis
Paul wishes to express deep gratitude to his teacher, Master Bruce Frantzis, his teacher's primary teacher, Grandmaster Liu — and all the lineage holders who came before them — for their many personal sacrifices to share the ancient, profound and powerful practices of the Water Method, Old Taoism, as described by Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching.
